Simply Gourmand specializes in gourmet artisan cheesecakes in a jar. We currently have 60 unique flavors including vegan and gluten free options. All ingredients are locally sourced when in season. All of our crusts, toppings and cheesecake are made in small batches from scratch in our licensed kitchen, that is attached to our centennial home. A real home cooked dessert. Full size cheesecakes are also available to order.
In April 2018 Simply Gourmand qualified to compete at the World Championship by winning a golden ticket for Best Dessert at Bacon Bash in Royal Oak.
Our winning dish was a trio of cheesecakes that included out Maple Bourbon Bacon Pecan Cheesecake, Irish Car Bomb Cheesecake and Chocolate Bourbon Bacon Cheesecake.
The competition is in Orange Beach, Alabama November 7-11, 2018. Our team consists of Jessica Gourieux, Mike Gourieux, Kaitlyn Hernandez, Janel Dombrowski, Erin Handley, Taylor O'Connor and Elizabeth Weisenberger. We are excited to have this opportunity to be able to compete in the world's largest food sport event. We will be competing in the dessert category with at least 33 other chefs and home cooks.
Looks like our first day of competition is Thursday late afternoon for the first round and then Saturday afternoon when we make it into the top 10
